How often is the base year of all indices in the International Financial Statistics (IFS) updated?
Rebasing of indices (Real Sector and Share Prices) in IFS is done every five years and is applied four years after the reference base year (e.g., 2000=100 is updated in 2004 in IFS). The current base year in IFS is 2010=100. All indices were rebased to 2010 in the June 2014 edition.
