What is the release schedule for Data Template on International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity (RT) data?

Countries that subscribe to the IMF's Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) make a commitment to disseminate RT data on their national website no later than the last day of the month following the reference period. We also ask that countries follow that same schedule and voluntarily provide the data template to the IMF for redissemination.

Once submitted, the data is generally available on our website with about a two day lag. Because some countries provide data ahead of the required deadline, it ends up being more of a rolling release rather than data for all countries being released at the same time.

A list of links to Reserves Template data disseminated by subscribing counties on national websites is available on the SDDS website by selecting the "International Reserves Template - On Subscribers websites" on the right hand pane of the SDDS home page.

In addition, information relating to specific subscriber release dates (Advance Release Calendar (ARC)) is also available on the site.

The RT dataset can be found here.
